Extremely friendly and efficient staff who even put a breakfast tray together for us when we left one morning before service had started, which was unquestionably a plus. The hotel was in the remote setting to Keilder lake. What's more, it was very close to other pubs.

The breakfast was amazing.
I could hardly get any sleep . The noise from the adjacent room was unbearable, with conversations lasting until the early hours and loud snoring disturbing my rest. I expected a peaceful evening, but instead, I was left tossing and turning all night!

Consider dining in the bar area for a cozier atmosphere than the dining room offers.

The food was delicious, and we especially loved the lamb shoulder and the tasty vegetarian options. The lovely garden and cozy lounge areas added a nice touch to unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the vegetarian choices could've been a bit more varied, but overall, we had a fantastic stay! 😊

Wonderful stay in a charming location
We spent two nights here and enjoyed the picturesque setting near Kielder Water. Staff were friendly, and the food was good-a nice belly of pork. Just be mindful of limited vegetarian options! Make sure to ask about specials upon arrival.

I stayed at The Pheasant Inn recently and really enjoyed my time there. The food stood out immediately. Every meal was delicious, especially the lamb, highly recommend it! They were friendly and genuinely helpful. My room felt cozy, and the bed offered comfort I appreciated after a long day exploring. I had some minor issues with the shower. It was difficult to operate and the water was cooler than expected. I found the breakfast options a bit limited for vegetarians. Despite these concerns, the overall ambiance and charm of the place overshadowed the drawbacks.
